Some of my favorite "cheap" accessories are drieds. They are easily accessible and can be changed frequently to accommodate the season. Using drieds are easy and affordable no matter what your budget! You can fill your totes, bowls or crocks with drieds or hang them from peg racks or hang from beams to add instant texture and color.
Stringing green beans is an old Indian custom called leather britches. It is the way that the Indians dried their beans.
These are a must for your Peg & Drying Racks. Beans are hand-strung onto butcher's twine and allowed to air dry.
I have for your consideration today, one (1) Pioneer Leather Britches Garland, strung using (1) one pound of green beans & measuring approximately 32" long.
These are hand strung, using different bean so they don't always look the same as the picture.
The 3rd picture is from a customer who purchased one.
This garland can be used in so many ways...It is wonderful hanging from an old cupboard door, an old barn peg or peg rack .. A very nice prim addition to any room for the Pioneer/Settlers Look.
It will bring the feel of the olde days into your Pioneer Home
This is for one (1) Pioneer Leather Britches Garland...The other items in the picture or not included!!!
Be sure to check out all my Garlands, for your primitive displays.....You will love them.
