This old Mission period leather purse iS in fine condition, showing very little use. The handle is not worn, not frayed. The surface on both sides is supple and soft, with a nice gloss. There are some short light surface marks from simple handling. The inside of the clasp has a patent mark of 1-25-21, but no maker mark. The drop "pendant" at the clasp is impressed "OPEN" on one side indicating the position which allowed the purse to open. It measures... about 7 1/2" W x 6" D, not including the handle, and has an original small leather coin purse with it. It weighs about 1/2 pound. Check out my other items.
