This is Renwal's late 1950s release of the Polaris submarine USS George Washington [SSBN-598] in 1/200 scale. As you know, this is one of the highly detailed Renwal subs in which you get to see the interior of a nuke....AND you can actually FIRE a faux nuke missile!!
I have inventoried this kit---what a PAIN!! It is NOT complete!!
The missing parts may include a couple of the crew and a chair or two plus:#17#25 [sink!]#88...and part #16 is damaged.
Additiona...lly, some of the torpedoes and some of the torpedo racks are "used"---removed from a different partly assembled model.
The original instructions are shown.
The original decals are missing. BUT....You will also receive a set of digitally edited reproduction decals. You can have YOUR CHOICE of ANY of the 5 GW Class [last pic]; you will receive one set of white letters/numbers on black [since these subs were painted black] and one set with black letters/number. Just let me know WHICH sub you want IF you want one other than the GW.
