This listing is a Very Rare Antique Early 1950's Wilson Duke F1070 Model NFL Night Game Football.This is a rare football, and is made with very similar markings as to Thorp Sporting Goods NFL Bert Bell model game balls, however this one just bears the Wilson name, and where Bert Bell's facscimile signature would be, Game Ball in script is in its place, with Pro League Pattern underneath it.I am not sure if this ball would have been a store bought ball made to look like a Bert Bell NFL ...game ball, or if this ball was used during a brief period between Bert Bell and Pete Rozelle commissionerships.Regardless it is a rarity, and a fantastic early football relic.
The ball is in very nice condition, and it does inflate but appears to have a slow leak.
