Enchanting antique bisque head doll, mould 1009 by Simon & Halbig for your bidding pleasure. This particular mould is loved by many. Long thin oval face with thick eye brows, rosy cheeks and a perfectly shaped mouth with orangey-red lips. Big blue sleep eyes with painted lashes. Head is incised ~ S 14 H / DEP / St. ~ . This darling has very light tiny rub marks on her left cheek, paint loss in the wig area on the back of the head and what seems to be surface fla...kes in the bisque across her high forehead. Maybe the consequence of someone removing a tightly glued wig. ( Imperfections would be covered by the wig.) No other hairlines, damages or repairs to the bisque. Pierced ears. She wears a dark blonde vintage wig with curls and bangs. Original composition body is tightly strung. She holds a pose nicely. Body retains 95% of the original paint and finish. The lower arms, hands as well as the lower legs and had a light repaint. Body is in very nice condition and is signed ~ Germany / 5 1/4 ~. Some paint chips to ball joints, a couple of craze lines on lower legs and light paint wear. She is 28" tall. Her face is just so mesmerizing to look at. She ships from Canada. Thanks for looking.
