This is a beautiful antique American Impressionist oil painting Circa 1900. It is a painting on board with the original black paper on the back that was part of the original framing. We did not peel it off to see whether or not it might have given a location or signed on the back. The frame is a representation of an earlier period, but certainly compliments the antique painting. Although I do not see a signature, I have a pretty good idea that it was painting by Frederick M.... Lamb since I purchased it with 2 sketch books by Lamb. It measures 8" x 10" and is in good condition. A nice addition to any American Impressionist or Luminist collection.
