Antique Meissen Porcelain Figure of Cupid Writing with Arrow, Mask on Column E82
DIMENSIONS: Approximately 21cm tall overall
ITEM DETAILS: This rare antique Meissen cherub has some losses to the garland around the mask as well as the wreaths around the column and one or two petals on his crown of flowers. Also, there's a separation between the column and Cupid's left side due to firing shrinkage (see photos) but this is only visible from the back and the foliate ...losses have little effect on its overall appearance as you can see. Otherwise it's as bright as a button with no other significant issues and displays impeccably. Everything is just as you see it in the photos, and as always there's a low start and no reserve so happy bidding!
