Antique Chinese porcelain plate, densely hand-painted in polychrome enamels, the plate is decorated with a traditional design featuring bok choy surrounding a central stylized character for Longevity in gold and red and trimmed with 8 butterfies in blues, browns, yellows and blacks. Nicely made, fine porcelain. I'm unsure of the exact age, an educated guess is 1920-30s. Unmarked, the plate measures 8 3/8" across and stands 1" tall at the rim. Condition is good, but not mint; beautiful ...coloring, no chips, glaze has some wear around the inside at the edge of the rim (where they sit when when stacked), and some tiny inclusions show on the back; use or display on arrival.
