Up for auction is this striking example of the famous Crosley "Fiver" radio, in an unusual metal case. This radio dates from the late 1930's and is in superb condition. Striking emblematic "mirror dial" shines brightly! The radio is very clean and works great. All tubes tested good and all capacitors have been replaced with their modern equivalents. Metal case is in great shape with only a few faint scrapes in the grey paint. The bakelite face plate ...is in perfect shape. The radio sounds great across the AM broadcast band and the Shortwave band. Weight is 11 pounds (unpacked). Measures 13 in. long by 8 in. high by in. deep. Buyer pays shipping charges. Paypal only.
