1990s Snodgrass & Blythe Artisans Miniature Dollhouse Sleeping Lady Canopy BedThis beautiful canopy bed with a sleeping lady came from the Virginia Merrill estate. So pretty and serene, look at all the details starting with the beautiful woodwork, velvet tufted headboard, silk tulle netting trimmed in lace and silk rosettes. A beautiful, resting lady, under the covers of her quilted silk and lace cover was part of a room, you can exchange the doll but she was the... sleeping mommy and in the same room was the Storybook bassinet and baby I also have listed currently. The entire bed is made of wood, even the base and the headboard is velvet on both sides, incredibly made. This is a OOAK piece. I have had both the luxury and honor to have many Stephanie Blythe & Susan Snodgrass pieces in many different collections over the years. They worked together until 1996 so this is a early piece of theirs.
