Click images to enlarge Description Set of Eight Antique Minton Reticulated Hand Painted Pictorial Cabinet Plates c1880A beautiful set of Minton porcelain late Victorian reticulated cabinet plates. Each finely painted with a different central landscape or waterscape scene surrounded by lavish, rich gilding. Possibly depicting Scottish views, with the mountains backgrounds.
Size: 23.75cm (9.4 inch) Diametre. Combined unpacked weight 3 Kilos. Condition: Some light ware including scratches/tooling marks and four of the plates are crazed, with one of these having a short hairline (pictures 9 & 10) and some discolouration to its base. Otherwise good with bright and vibrant colours and gilding.
Minton backstamps, with Minton impressed, pattern numbers and registration kite marks appearing on some of the plates (difficult to read the actual year).
