Free Sewing Machine Co. Est 1895 - 1953This is a Very Old and Beautifully Decorated Sewing Machine. This Is A VERY HEAVY Piece. The Needle Does Move when the Handle is turned. I Believe this had at one time been part of a sewing treadle table since it does have a grove on the handle for the rope. It does sit stable on a table. I do not know when it was manufactured but since the company closed in 1953, I would say sometime before that.
