A beautiful softly painted watercolor of a french lady from the 1790s by her costume.the large hat with bow an feather embellishments , powdered hair an large collar . It was painted in the mid 1900s .
The frame has a clear top which is celluloid invented in the 1850s . It is well matted in an olive green velvet. The gold sets off the delicate painting .
