The front of the piece has no visible chips or cracks. There is crazing, which you don't really see unless you look close. The lower edge of the bottom left leaf is not as smooth to the touch as the rest of the piece, which looks like the glaze was not applied in that area before firing. It is not noticeable visually. <...br>The blue "sky" in the background really makes the basket weave stand out. The variations of the yellows and browns in the sunflower give it depth and dimension.
The back of the piece has crazing which is not uncommon with a piece of this age. There are several chips as illustrated in the pictures which cannot be seen from the front of the piece.
