Vintage 1960s Getty Oil Co AM Radio Gas Pump, Very Rare
Item History & Price
Since this radio has never been used, and no batteries have been installed, we have no idea if it works o...r not. This is sold for collector value, not as a working radio. That said, it probably does work!
NOTE: We've had several of these radios in various oil company names/versions. Most are missing the chrome nozzle because it breaks off where the pin is inserted into the hole in the side of the radio. We suggest the new owner not put the nozzle's pin into the hole, as it's impossible to get it back out without breaking it off. If we were keeping this radio, we would simply glue the nozzle onto the black hose, and barely insert the pin, just enough into the hole so it can be displayed. [Once the nozzle is installed, the radio won't fit back into the box.]
