Original Description:
Up for auction is an attractive medieval manuscript Bible leaf on vellum, in Latin, English origin, circa 1260.  It contains two large blue initials with extending red penwork.  Also present are some contemporary marginal notations.  Despite a brown stain on the recto, this leaf is in very good condition.  It measures approx. 7 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.
