Up for Auction now is a old model 1860 U.S. Cavalry saber. Folk's this saber is not stamped, dated, or marked. This sword was found in the attic of a recent estate clean out conducted by our company. This sword is in overall nice condition.Note: The wire wrapping on the handle is coming loose. The brass guard shows a beautiful golden brown patina. The scabbard shows some rust however it is in nice overall condition. The blade of the sword has some rust but is in overall nice condition....Sold as is with nothing implied or expressed.
