You are viewing "Antique Copper Pan & Lid, that has been fully restored & re polished, the item would make a very nice decorative kitchen saucepan. The item now is in excellent good solid condition with no visible damage - but it is not recommended to be suitable for general use unless the item has been re-tinned.
As you can see the item is made of Copper with a Wrought Iron Handle and the pan dates from the late 19th or early 20th Century. There are manufacturers... marks on the lid handle and the saucepan handle but these are very faint and hard to decipher. I have tried to highlight the details on the handles in a photograph. The items have been well used and will have many little marks on them from general usage and age of the item. There are no major dents to the saucepan or lid. Please check the photographs to satisfy yourself as to the condition.
The saucepan is in very good condition commensurate with age now that it has been fully cleaned and fully restored. The copper has all been polished and the iron handles have been cleaned and lacquered to protect them from further corrosion and pitting damage.
The pan measures 10cm high and 15.5cm wide and 31cms long with the handle. The saucepan & lid is a total weight of 1.281kgs.
The item can either be collected or it can be dispatched via a parcel carrier. The quoted price for delivery is for the destinations in the UK Mainland only. All other areas please check prior to purchase for the correct postal costs.
This is a private sale and the item has been in the family for many many years, but they have required cleaning and updating a little prior to selling. The last three pictures highlight the state of the saucepan in its original state prior to the restoration.
No further deep cleaning is required to this item only general maintenance is required to enhance the item.
