Very Good Antique Pair Silver On Copper Candlesticks in the Georgian / Regency style.
These would look stunning on an antique Mahogany dining table. As you can see the copper base is bleeding through the silver plate in places, but the overall effect is very pleasing. One stick has lost it's felt base, and the other is most certainly original!
Difficult to date precisely, they are not original old sheffield plate so my guess is Victorian, or possibly Edwardian Revival, ...when Regency and Georgian influences returned to interior styling and fashion.
Each stick Measures approx 11 inches in height
