Up for auction is a good Chinese Export solid silver 4 piece tea service, made in China c.1900.The set comprises of a TEAPOT, SUGAR BOWL, CREAM JUG & SUGAR TONGS. Each piece has FIERCE DRAGON MASK FEET. Each piece has 2 PANELS of FINELY REPOUSSED SUNFLOWERS against a MATTED BACKGROUND. The teapot has a hinged lid/cover with a panel of SUNFLOWERS. The SUGAR TONGS have applied SUNFLOWERS and CLAW tongs.There are tiny French import marks. The set tests as 900+ pure silver.The 4 pieces... weigh a total of 776 Grams (24.94 Troy ounces).Measurements are:TEAPOT : Approx. 20cm tallSUGAR BOWL : Approx. 14cm tallCREAMER : Approx. 12cm tall.CONDITION : GOOD CONDITION. There are some crude solder joins to the teapot handle and creamer spout.
