These styles of Korans were made during the Timurid Dynasty and are known as three-line Korans. every page is divided into three parts with large calligraphy in a different script, usually in Reyhan or Muhaqqaq Script. The smaller size texts were written in Naskh script and between the larger ones. In this manuscript pa...ge, the large texts are handwritten in very strong hand Muhaqqaq script and other smaller texts are written in fine Naskh calligraphy.
The quality of calligraphy shows that this was definitely was written by an important master of calligraphy at the time. The gold illumination is very beautiful and detailed from the same era of the manuscript. It is in very good condition for its age.
