For BIN--an antique bisque head doll made in Germany by George Borgfeldt. she stands 25 inches tall with a socket head and ball jointed composition body. The head has no hairlines but there is a white spot just over her left ear. It does not appear to be damage to the bisque and is under the wig. She has sleep brown eyes and orange lips. Nice cheek blush. Her wig is a replaced newer wig but is long and silky and can be styled. Has a human hair feel. The composition body is in very good... condition. There are some paint rubs and a crack around the socket edge at the neck but no damage to compo and is not dramatic. Looks like someone paint the toes orange but no damage to the feet. All fingers are intact and finger polish is factory original and looks almost perfect. Body is clean. A few minor scuffs. See pics. She is wearing a pink cotton hat with a pink silk flower trim. The dress is pink silk taffeta brocade with lace trim . I was told by owner it was original but I do not know. It is antique. It has fading to the pink color mostly in the front so she must have been sitting against a wall or in a chair. I did not find damage tot he dress. The slip is also a silk taffeta. There are slits on the bodice but you have to pull at it to notice. 2 are on the seams so can be stitched back. There is a wide airy net lace trim on the slip edge. Some of the lace has come loose from the fabric and needs to be reattached. Slip is a tan color and I was told it was original to the doll and dress. She is wearing replaced vintage white cotton pantaloons. Pink antique cotton socks. Socks have a few pink holes. Shoes are replaced leatherette antique style boots with 4 faux pearl button closures on the sides. She is a lovely girl. Not mint but has mostly antique clothing and a nice head and body.

CONDITION- Good. No hair lines to the bisque head. On the left side of her head about 2: above the cheek is a white spot where there is no paint. The bisque does not appear to be damaged. Wig is over this spot. The tooth on the far left corner of her mouth has fallen off. Taffeta dress maybe original. It has significant fading but no tears or holes. The slip has a lace trim that has come loose in the front and needs to be stitched back. Not damaged. There are some slits on the bodice of the taffeta slip but not noticeable unless you pull on it. Pantaloons are replaced but vintage. Antique socks have a few pin holes. See pics. Body has a few light scuffs and rubs and a crack around the neck opening in the paint only. Original finger polish is perfect. Looks like some one put orange paint on toes. The compo body is excellent. Very clean and the only damage is the paint around the neck socket. Replaced pate, wig and shoes. Sorry for the glare from my flash.
