VINTAGE WOOL RUG
A collector's item. All woven from natural wool. This hails from the Rio Grande area of the Southwestern United States.
Traditional Saddle blanket. Banded stripes with arrow end motif in all 4 corners (black and white with red wool). Native American design.
Measures 5 feet long, 28 inches wide.&nb...sp; Tassels on each end not included in length, they're an extra 3.5" each.
This one appeals to me for many reasons. First, it's a traditional blanket, Native design. Color scheme is awesome. Handsome shades of steel blue grey, cream/off white or light tan, dark brown, then the red, black & white arrow ends in each corner.
From the 1950's to 1960's, in good condition for it's age. No holes. A few small spots, nothing noticeable, some wear consistent with age but overall a usable real wook rug.
Adds a touch of the old Southwest to any home.
