Burnt clay, roof tile, so called tegula, diam. 125x121x28mm; imprint: [LEG] XIIII G(emina). Roman Imperial, 114-300 AD.
Said to have been found in the 70s or 80s of last century on the farmland-area of the Roman militarycamp, Carnuntum (ancient capital of Pannonia).

The cognomen Gemina (Twinned) was added when the legion was combined with another understrength legion after the Battle of Actium.
