This is a Buy it Now Listing for one VINTAGE 1960'S IDEAL Tammy Family PEPPER DOLL. She's 9" tall, stamped Ideal Toy Corp. G9-E on the back of her head and stamped Ideal Toy Corp. G-9-W 2 on her back. This listing includes Ideal Toy Corp. Pepper Case, comes with Pepper's original outfit plus other clothing and accessories. Circa 1960's, I believe 1964 but I am not a doll expert, she is the original straight leg Pepper whose legs do not bend. She comes with ...with original outfit, the red, black and white romper that is in excellent condition complete with working snaps. Pepper has the sweetest face with herlovely coloring and freckles and she's very clean, no dents or scratches. Simply an adorable doll. Ships from a smoke free home.
This Tammy doll was my own personal doll, 57 years ago. She was played with a lot when I was a child but I took good care of her so she's in wonderful condition. Please review the pictures for the most accurate description of her.
Pepper has a pinpoint dot on the back of her right shoulder that I could not capture in photo and a tiny factory plastic pimple on the back of the knee. She also has a small amount of "Green Ear" caused from oxidized metal from wearing earrings. It's not severe (small circle around the earring hole) and her hair covers it up for the most part. I've made no attempt to remove it, please see last picture. I read there is a product, Remove-Zit that takes removes the green, and I may buy it and try. If I do, I will update this listing so if you're reading this now, I have not done so to date.
This lot includes and is being sold as is:1. Pepper doll (as described above and in pictures)2. Ideal Pepper Doll Case which is in very nice shape. Clean, no rips or tears, working snap closure, carrying handle intact. Normal wear issues some marks here and there, clean inside. The back top of the accessories draw has a some discoloration but is straight and works as it should. For its age it is in very very good condition.3. Four, All original Pepper outfits/clothing, tagged. (Some of the clothing may need washing) a. Romper as described above. b. Complete Cat's Meow Outfit includes:cotton slacks, white cotton shell, turquoise and white knit cardigan, whiteshoes, cat bed with ribbon trim, cat with red ribbon, cat food bowl and can ofcat food. c. Teacher's Pet Outfit (#9308-8) includes : Red/plaid colored dress (excellent condition), red shoes, school bag, school book and dog pictures. The complete outfit included a bulletin board and pins, not included in this outfit. d. Flower Girl Dress Outfit (#9332-8) includes: The lovely pink and flowered dress (has wear under one armpit that can be mended with one small stitch), the flower girl basket, the pearl necklace, a white clutch bag, a pair of white shoes, and a head piece. The headpiece, a flowered headband, is not in good shape. Some of the flowers have fallen off or are very loose. This outfit is missing the original gloves.
