This is a Tall, round pyroglazed milk bottle from the Biltmore Dairy, Asheville, North Carolina. The bottle is in very good condition, no chips or cracks. The pyro isn't real shiny, but it's not worn off. Embossed with "Biltmore" on the bottom. Has an Asheville milk cap too. The bottle is from Biltmore Dairy, from the Biltmore estate. While some of the Biltmore dairy bottles aren't too hard to come by, the pyrglazed quarts are rare. I was an avid milk bottle collector for many years an...d thi is the only one I've ever seen. Great piece of Asheville and Biltmore history. The Vanderbilts and the Biltmore estate put Asheville on the map in the late 1800's.
