I have for auction a delightful set of two Chinese embroidered silk scrolls presented in their original wooden box; they measure approx. 83" in length and approx. 17 1/2" wide; actual red silk measures approx. 81x15"; background appears to be very fine red silk; the silk has a firm paper backing for stability; exquisite embroidery needlework very very fine created the figures; all appear to be set on clouds; figures measure approx. 16-17"; scrolls have an intricate embroidered bo...rder; all figures are in very good condition; cannot see any loose threads or tears on the embroidery on the figures. Would estimate these are from the early part of the 19th century. Very good condition considering age; wooden box has some splits to the lid. Fine red silk background has some lightly faded patches which does not detract from these beautiful items; two hanging rods are detached; embroidered figures appear to be intact. Buyer is responsible for postage costs; Paypal is my preferred method of payment. I try very hard to accurately describe my vintage items; should the item you receive be significantly "not as described" I will be happy to consider a refund; however, I cannot pay return s&h charges. On Nov-09-19 at 22:48:32 PST, seller added the following information:Canadian buyers are responsible for appropriate taxes.
