You are bidding on a vintage Sears Roebuck JC Higgins single burner white Gas Lantern. Undated, but most likely from the mid to late 60s. Originally made by AGM, American Gas Machine and branded for sale at Sears. A true survivor from years ago!This lantern is from the estate of a fanatic Coleman collector who took the time and effort to meticulously restore and clean all his lanterns. It is ready for use, or permanent display. All mechanical parts appear to be in top notch condition. ...It has been given a brief test fire, burns bright and loud. No flame leaks around burner tubes. It has a new cap gasket, leather pump cup has been soaked in neatsfoot oil, check valve works. This is how the lantern was found on the shelf. Original Heat Resisting globe is in great shape with no cracks or chips.A few minor scratches and paint chips on the fuel tank, no dents. Decal logo in good shape. Ventilator has a few minor chips in porcelain enamel paint, no dents or other major damage.Fuel tank will be drained and dried prior to shipping.Payment must be received 7 days from auction end or item will be relisted.
