RARE!!! CARDBOARD DOLL HOUSE ADVERTISING EDISON MAZDA LAMPS BOXI am now continuing into another of my late sister's collections. This was probably her second passion, dollhouses and dollhouse furniture, with her number one passion being Paper Dolls. That collection has not even begun to be liquidated. I will do my best to describe items but keep in mind I really know nothing about the subject other than what I can find on the internet. It will not upset me at al...l if someone more knowledgeable that me on the subject cares to add some input.I am now continuing with a VERY RARE FIND of a Cardboard Doll House that has advertising and the original box that several Edison Mazda Lamps (light bulbs) were packaged in. What Mother could have been at the store in those years and spotted this adorable Cardboard Doll House and all she had to do was buy a full box of light bulbs. I am really surprised this has survived over the years. This is a 2-STORY STYLE DOLL HOUSE that now has opening doors and even some windows. The box is 8 5/8 inches wide, to the peak of the roof it is 9 inches, and the house is 6 inches deep. General Electric had patented the MAZDA name in 1909 and the name was used for their filament light bulbs up to 1945. I was able to pin point the exact age of the house by using the most recent patent number on the bottom of the box to see the most recent patent was from 1927. This is truly a rare and unique find and I am sure my sister was just THRILLED when she found it!Rest assured all items will be packaged with GREAT CARE!!
