Period: William IV c1830.
Marks: BEST SHEFFIELD HEAVY SILVER PLATING .
Dimensions: approx 340mm / 13 1/4 inches long (handle to handle).
Condition: Good, considering age. There are dings, dents and surface scratches - some of the dents and creases to the underside are reasonably deep which I tried to show in photo 11. Some warm copper tones bleeding through on raised parts but fairly minimal on the outward facing surfaces. Spots of tarnish that will polish off. Silver wire has worn, frayed and has missing sections along the edge of the tray - the edges of the tray are also slightly bashed and bent. A little wear to the handles and feet. Water compartment is watertight. Wear commensurate with age and use. Please see photos and do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
