This is for a very stylised antique Carl Deffner copper storage pot from the late 1800s. The copper has the same strong Secessionist design on both sides with two angular handles wrapped in the original rattan woven covers. The lid has a brass handle and the base has the feint makers marks which I know to be Carl Deffner as I have sold this design before. It is in excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere and it has a good dark patina. It measures 95mm (3.75") in diameter... and stands 90mm (3.75") tall.
