This is a vintage Japanese Suehiro Deluxe #6000-1 water sharpening whetstone stone from Japan with base attached. It is approximately 9.5" long, 3-1/8" wide, and 1.75" tall. The stone itself is approximately 8-1/8" long, 2-7/8" wide, and 7/8" thick.
There is a nick on the right top edge of the stone. Otherwise the stone feels smooth. It has dark streaking on it. I have absolutely no expertise on this item whatsoever but as far as I can tell it seems to ...be in good condition.
The stone is firmly attached to the wooden and plastic base.
It comes with its vintage box (which has deteriorated some) and an instruction sheet.
