c1890, ANTIQUE 19thC INDIAN KASHMIR SOLID SILVER GILT SUGAR BOWL & CREAMER JUGDescription:A finely hand crafted antique Indian silver sugar bowl and cream jug, originating from the region of Kashmir, and dating to the late 19th century, circa 1890.
Both pieces have superb hand chased decoration to the bodies with trailing paisley form leaves, gilded bowl interiors, the creamer with a silver snake form handle. Both pieces also have a vacant shield shaped cartouche to the front....r>There are no silver marks present, which is not unusual for items like this, but both pieces test as silver.
