19thc Antique Chinese Sang De Boeuf 12 " Covered Jar Flambe Oxblood Crackle
Item History & Price
Wonderful antique, assume dates to late 19th century – look closely at photos and decide for yourself, large scale 12” tall and 8.5” dia, 3.25" opening, Chinese bulbous form lidded jar with a wonderful Sang de Boeuf / Oxblood and faint crackle glaze. Beautiful flambe glaze variations over surface and bluish r...ing to opening. Fresh from a fine old Denver estate, and offered with No Reserve. Expected rough foot ring from manufacture. Condition of base is excellent overall showing a light scratch to surface near foot and minor use scuffs. No chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, or other damage to base. Lid shows several pictured small flakes to underside of lid as well as an old professional repair to on edge, unseen when in place.
