You are bidding on a beautiful pair of 1930's or 1940's mens vintage whole cut dress shoes. They appear to be burgundy or a deep russet in color but that could be from the polish. They are in excellent condition with no major flaws that I can see. They show wear and the material from the tongue is starting to separate. They do need a good conditioning and have the possibility of being stretched to possible a D width if you are so inclined. These are made by Edwin Clapp and called 'Brig...adiers' for Krupp and Tuffly out of Houston, TX with 'Hanovian Wear- Spring' Rubber Heels. Otherwise, these are also a great stand in for WWII era private purchase dress shoes for Officers or enlisted men. USMC or Army.
