Antique Silver Match Strike Birmingham, 1900A fine example of a large ribbed glass match holder with a solid Sterling Silver rim. It is hallmarked for Salmon & Gluckstein Ltd, Birmingham, 1900. The hallmark is slightly rubbed but still readable. It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and minor dinks on the silver rim but nothing detrimental. There are a ...few small nibbles on the glass but nothing major. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.Approximate Measurements :Height : 2 1/4" (5.5cm)Diameter : 2 1/4" (5.5cm)The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
