Here we have a very fine vintage "Kiko" leather-bound briar estate pipe in the bent 'billiard' shape, complete with a meerschaum lined chamber, and crafted in Africa by the "Tanganyika Meerschaum Company".
It has been carefully smoked and remains in very good condition - light wear to the bowl rim - and a fewlight teethmarks on the stem.
There is a good layer of carbon in the chamber, and some darkening to the bowl rim.The stem screws very securely to the shan...k, and air flows through the pipe freely.
On one side of the shank is "Kiko" and model number "8", with "Made in Tanganyika" on the reverse.The Tanganyika 'elephant' logo adorns the stem in white.
Thoroughly cleaned and ready to enjoy.Sold as seen.
