Reschke was a three-year starter at Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and helped lead the Warriors to a combined record of 28-10 (.737), including back-to-back Division 2 state championships (2011-12) He was named to The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press Dream Teams in 2012.
Reschke recorded 75 tackles in 2015 and was honorable mention All-Big Ten as a sophomore as the Spartans went to the College Football Playoff. He was named Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week and Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week after recording six tackles, including an 8-yard sack and a quarterback hurry, in MSU’s 17-14 win at No. 2 Ohio State. Reschke was also named Spartan Defensive Attack Force Player of the Week vs. Indiana after tallying a team-best 16 production points against the Hoosiers; he had six tackles, a pass break-up and a QB hurry in the game.
He played in only two games in 2016 due to an ankle injury suffered against Wisconsin. Shortly after that, though, he suffered a significant knee injury and sat out that 2017 campaign.
In 2018, Reschke rejoined the Spartans and played in all 13 games posting 33 tackles (12 solo, 21 assists) with a career-best 6.0 tackles for loss. (11 yards) Reschke played a total of 315 snaps, primarily at Sam linebacker and produced four tackles, including a half sack (3 yards), against Oregon in the Redbox Bowl in his final collegiate game. Reschke also logged four stops, including a career-high two tackles for loss in the Rutgers game on Senior Day in Spartan Stadium.
