This is a lovely antique red & blue alphabet sampler, showing letters, numbers and borders. The sampler is probably Dutch or German and is dated 1917.
It measures approximately 9 1/4 x 16 inches or 23.5 x 40.5 cm. The sampler is in good condition, considering its age. The cloth is is a bit dirty and has some loose threads around the edge.
