A lovely c. 1825 English H & R Daniel coffee cup and saucer with exquisite hand painted floral design, gilt, and cobalt (mazarin) blue accent. The cup is 2.75" high, and the saucer is 5.75" wide. The cup is marked with pattern number 4058, and the handle and cup shape are listed in Michael Berthoud's "A Compendium of British Cups" at plate number 734, page number 123 (if you are a collector, this book is invaluable!). There are 3 of these, and they are all in very good condition wi...th no chips or cracks.Condition: very good with just a tiny bit of blue bleeding on one saucer which I have pictured. These are truly in remarkable condition for their age. It looks as though they have never been used.Thanks for looking!
