DESCRIPTION A pair of Chinese porcelain "Famille Rose" chargers of stunning quality. Scarce and highly sought after pieces from the Chinese Republic Period.
The center contains a pair of quails amidst rock formations, bamboo and chrysanthemums.The medallion is surrounded by an intricate interplay of bats, chimes and lotus scrolls. The base of each charger is inscribed with an iron-red Qianlong seal mark.
Lovely “orange peel” glaze.
