This is an original antique (Victorian era) Eastlake style scroll-cut folding walnut clock or knick knack wall shelf featuring hand carved patterns and black painted accents.
The shelf is sturdy and functional, but there are a few minor, tight cracks in the back panel, including a larger one that has been glued, and there is a chunk of wood missing along the edge of the crack on top. The piece that is missing is through the screw hole that was used for wall mounting, so new mou...nting holes or hooks will need to be added, or it might be possible to hang this from screws through the cutout areas. The back panel also has a very slight warp from age (and possibly moisture) but the damage is not very obvious. There are some worn spots in the finish and some discoloration and flakiness from age and use.
The shelf measures 22 1/2" H x 15 1/2" W x 7" deep (the shelf top is 6 1/4" deep). It will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
