Today we are happy to offer for sale a wonderful antique English solid pewter charger plate! This great piece is finely crafted of solid pewter and hallmarked on the back "London". This large charger/tray features a streamlined and sturdy utilitarian design which was suitable for use in a tavern/pub or modest households. The charger has a warm time-earned patina. Piece presents well and is in generally good antique as-found condition, with wear, oxidation/tarnish/patina, and a a several small corrosion surface holes commensurate with age and type of use (mostly only visable when held up to the light). Great for display... not recommended for food use... and priced accordingly. Add old English warmth and style to any interior with this unique charger plate...Fresh to the market from a Rhode Island estate!
