Antique 19th c red wash candle box
1. antique mid to late 1800s
2. all original, I have not cleaned this, just as I took it from the house
3. excellent original red wash
4. found in NH attic
5. slide groves in the top are hand carved
6. top has chamfered sides to slide
7. finger holes in the end
8. top and sides are all good
9. bottom has small amount of rot ...on one corner, must have sat in so water
10. all of the loose wood on bad corner has been removed,
11. bottom is very secure
12. probably pine
