Antique Chinese porcelain “hares fur” Jian ware bowl. A traditional hand thrown shape with a well applied drip glaze in the correct early colour on a biscuit coloured stoneware body. Quite a solid and heavily potted piece and measures almost 6inches width. Looks like a very early piece with an excellent shape in very fine condition with no damages or repairs (some minor age related surface marks and some glaze crazing more visible on the inner centre) and comes with... vintage box which is in good sturdy condition as purchased with bowl. A rather interesting display piece.
Bought personally from a Uk auction room and I have been gradually selling the majority of my collection to help raise money for my sons craniosynostosis healthcare funds and also I will be giving a share to PACT animal sanctuary in Norfolk as this is a very good charity helping animals and wildlife on limited funds.
