This is for a rosamund reed organ from england, only a handful made for a shopkeeper there.
Has two sets of reeds both excellent condition, and has been fully restored by a pipe organ builder, folds down into a box for easy transportation. This is a French style organ. The instrument has two chambers because there are two sets of reeds.
The reeds in the organ are made by two French makers Rover from Chateau-Thierry and Heure in Paris. The two sets are pitched at 8...’, or same as a piano. but the reed tips are different so as to impart a different tone between the Flute and Cor Anglais. They are all in excellent condition.
