GREAT BRITAIN: Silver WW2 "King's Medal for Service in the Cause of Freedom" - King George VI issue. The medal was established in 1945 and had been awarded for meritorious services by civilian foreign nationals, mainly of allied countries, in furtherance of the interests of the British Commonwealth in the Allied cause, during WW2.Extremely Scarce - Only 2, 539 such medals were ever awarded.
