Description: SAM Bat model JB1(S) SG1 Albert Pujols professional model bat show evidence of excellent game use with a handle crack that has been professionally repa...ired by PSA. Several ball marks and deep ball stitch impressions are visible on the left barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat marks are visible on the right and back barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting sleeve + a light coat of pine tar on the SAM logo. Pujols' number (5) is written on the knob in black marker. The length and weight of the bat are written on the top barrel in black ink. An Albert Pujols signature, plus his number "5" + the added inscription "GAME USED" are on the front of the barrel in black marker.
Provenance: The bat has been authenticated by Major League Baseball Authentication service and their hologram (FJ293863) is affixed to the front barrel for the autograph & inscription. The bat is also accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity for the game use and a Certificate of Authenticity (copy) for the autograph / inscription. LOA is signed by ALBERT PUJOLS and his hologram (00231) is affixed to the bat. Conclusion: After a thorough examination of this Albert Pujols professional model bat and its player use characteristics, it is our opinion that the bat is authentic, and was GAME USED by PUJOLS during the referenced labeling period. The bat exhibits EXCELLENT use and possesses identifiable player use characteristics. We have assigned the bat a grade of:
