"Rusty", sweet Antique C1908 Cinnamon Mohair Steiff 14" Teddy Bear With an Underscored FF Button
He has all the features he should have; black shoe button eyes, flossed toes and fingers, straw stuffing, hump back, long arms, disc joints, felt pads, etc. I think there is a squeaker in his tummy but it is not working.
The color of his mohair is reddish brown, a bit darker and more brown than my camera picks up.
His joints all work well and hold a poise. ... His original felt pads are in good condition with just a couple surface nips. His floss is all original.
The seams at the very tops of his arms and legs have been resewn, as well as his belly seam There are areas of mohair wear.
"Rusty" is a wonderful old Steiff bear with all original features, looking for a new home.
