This is an early Boraxo Powdered Soap Dispenser that I removed from the bathroom of our auto parts store when we repainted about 10 years ago. I believe that it had been on the wall since the building was built in 1948. It is the early Porcelain finished type (see the chip in picture 2) as opposed to the later painted ones with a painted top, not nickel/chrome plated like this one. Top is loose but I haven't figured out how to remove it. Would look great in the ...bathroom of your shop or man cave.
